Jamaican Seafood….From the sea to the cooking pot, whether it’s Crab, conch, fish, shrimp lobster—you name it—we love it! Seafood is considered a constant staple in many Jamaicans’ diet and many salivate with the thought of sinking their teeth into a juicy fried fish or digging into the chunky, succulent meat in a crab leg. You almost taste the herbs and spices from the potent garlic to the stinging pepper that sets the tone for an enjoyable meal. However, if you want more than your imagination, there are many places that you can try for seafood in Jamiaca. Here are a few locations we have tried so far and would definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for a crustacean meal!
The Office Sports Bar- Portmore Pines, St. Catherine
Visit The Office Sports Bar on any Tuesday night and you’ll find yourself caught in a seafood delight! You can have fish done in any variety, or try their seafood bucket (mixture of crayfish, sea crab, lobster, conch etc.), plus two free side orders with your meal. If you’re like me and cant get enough of crab, try their fried sea crab done in barbeque sauce….the sweet and spicy sauce is over the top!
